LUCAS MAEHARA ROTMAN, singer, songwriter, teacher

DEAR MIKI: AN ALL-AMERICAN FAMILY SAGA

Who and what and how do we come to be were it not for family?  What endures when those lives are endangered or taken away?

LUCAS MAEHARA ROTMAN is a singer-songwriter, teacher, and descendant of families seized into the whirlwinds of two of the 20th century’s worst atrocities: the Jewish Holocaust and the Japanese internment of World War II.  As such, his very existence is a miracle.

He comes to us bearing letters, artifacts, stories that must be told, and songs that must be sung:  “Dear Miki: An All-American Family Saga.”
